Aperture Redux

Apple appear to have done what all Aperture users have been hoping for: significantly updated it. Version 1.1, which should be out in March, completely revamps the RAW processing and add a ton of speed improvements as well as other new features and fixes.

Rob Galbraith seems to be completely surprised and impressed. I can't wait!

Update: It seems Apple itself has a page on it too.

The Futures of Money

Bruce Sterling, co-author of The Difference Engine and writer of Tomorrow Now has written an article on the future of money for Forbes. He argues that instead of banks issuing you a card, the card will instead BE the bank. And shops will pay you instead of the other way around...
